Jab se dil lagaya hai tumse,
Sab kuch sehne ki aadat ho gayi hai...
Intezaar karte hain hum tumhara dair tak,
Tumko na aane ki aadat ho gayi hai...
Baat baat pe muskurate thay hum,
Ab to roney ki aadat ho gayi hai...
Kabhi talab karte thay tumhe hum,
Ab to berukhi sehney ki aadat ho gayi hai...
Jab se sochna shuru kiya hai tumko,
Sari sari raat jaagney ki aadat ho gayi hai...
Ab tou chahe chhod bhi do humein,
Tum bin rehne ki aadat ho gayi hai...
Jise bhi chaha humne woh chhod kar chala gaya,
Ab tou khone ki aadat ho gayi hai...
Jab se tum gaye ho humein chhod kar,
Tab se chup rehne ki aadat ho gayi hai...
Tumse na koi shikwa na shikayat hai humein,
Bas khud se shikayat karne ki aadat ho gayi hai...
Maloom hai ke hamari kismat mein tum nahi,
Bas kismat se ladhne ki aadat ho gayi hai...
Tum jahan bhi raho bas khush raho,
Yeh duaaon mein mangne ki aadat ho gayi hai...
