Khamoshi bol uthe, to har nazar paighaam ho jaye
Ye sannata agar had se badhe to kohraam ho jaye

Sitare mashalen le kar mujhe bhi dhoondne niklain
Mein rasta bhool jaoon to junglon mein shaam ho jaye

Men wo adam-e-guzeda' n hoon jo tanhai k sehra men
Khud apni chaap sun kar larza bar-andaam ho jaye

Misaal aisi hai is daur-e-khirad k hosh mandon ki
Na ho daaman mein zar'ra aur sehra naam ho jaye

Shakeeb apne tarruf ke liye ye baat kaafi hai
Hum is se bach ke chalte hen jo rasta aam ho jaye
